The Bowling Quiz Game... Who/What am I?

No correct answers yet so here is a clue..

This bowler finished his PBA career with just one tour title.

In the interest of keeping this game alive, here is clue #2

This PBA champion was not very colourful on or off the lanes.

Jeff Mattingly is correct...he led Tucson by 633 pins back in 1978. We roomed together on tour for a few weeks in the early 80's. Jeff was definitely one of a kind, with a heart as big as they come.

well done Craigy..your turn now!

Ok sorry guys, was at brunswick all day. Mine is a 2 part question.

Over the past 3 or so years one of Australia's top youth bowlers has spent this whole time in the top 10 in rankings (most of which in the top 5) but has never won a ranked event.

In this time the bowler has come so close on 4 occasions but always just missed out for 2nd place.

Firstly who is the bowler and secondly who are the 4 bowlers who stoped him getting his first win? (Bonus brownie points if you can list the events)

Stephen Cowland

National Youth Cup 06 Chris barrett
Sydney Youth Cup 07 Michael Criag
Geelong Youth 07 Glen Loader
Penrith Youth Cup 06 Matt O'Brien

Thanks Craigy...

Something that AdrianS or Ralph may not get...

What song was chanted by the ACT/Southern Boys before their first win at Presidents Shield in 2003?

Good Luck!

All wrong. It was sung down the back behind the machines before the walk out. It's a lead and repeat kinda tune...
