FUEL Price OMG

I feel ripped off every time I fill up. Remember the days when petrol use to cost 60c a litre!!

LOL I can remember the days of walking into the Shell Argyle around the corner here to buy a Paddle Pop with my nan and petrol was 32c a litre!

Was recently watching a vid we shot on NYE 1996 hooning around with the lads about the streets of Hobie and in the background is the BP down next to the pub with a big sign that was showing 77.1c a litre.
Last year sometime it was up to 148.1 on the same site.

You still had 10 litres in the tank, you could done a couple more hundred metres :)
I dunno these bloke's with cammed and tuned car's whinging about fuel, lol :)

Showing my age now.

I remember panicking when the price went up from 10c/ltr to 12c/ltr and wondering how I was going to afford to fill my 64 Datsun Bluebird!:eek:

That was 1975.......

Nowadays, I just shrug my shoulders and continue to fork out more money to the gas guzzler............:(:(:(

I just got this sent to me by KC in an email, this should solve all your troubles.

IF THE PRICE OF PETROL GETS MUCH HIGHER
WE MAY HAVE TO INVEST IN ONE OF THESE ;);)

A Cowasaki !!!!!

Gotta take what you can get Jase. Can't afford to be too fussy down here :D

So i see in your latest email you sent me from Christmas...

Thanks for the update K-C...

K-C just emailed me her latest hook-up....:D

I asked her what it was he was doing in this photo...She said he was showing how far apart her lips needed to be...

She didn't mind the ride at all but was very happy with how well he can use his tongue...

Welcome to peak oil.

Many geologists think we're actually past that point now, so seeing that the Earth isn't making any more oil in the ground anytime soon, don't expect it to get cheaper for more than a few months. Use it wisely.

It's still substantially cheaper here than in Europe.

thats so true jason but my mother in-law just got back from Abu Darbi (UAE) where she paid 10 cents a litre.

If the governent would stop charging us tax twice (excise and GST) perhaps it would be a little cheaper
