Ed Fleming Lanes and Mentone tied for the finals and had to play a 1 game playoff. after the playoff both teams won two games and tied for pinfall. This send the both teams into a sudden death 9th & 10th Frame play-off with Mentone emerging the eventual winner by 10 pins.
This was one of the best finals seen in Melbourne Junior comp for a long time and all team should be applauded for their great sportsmanship.

Hey,
was an awsum weekend!! had lots of fun and guess what!! I ONLY CRACKED IT ONCE!!! or maybe twice.. haha anyways had a good weekend.. was a pitty that my average went from 172 to 159 thats kindah bad!! and i rekon we did well someone had to come last eh!! and btw we had 2 bowlers that hadnt bowled in any sort of comp at all, one who was only 11.. so that was good..
oh and shelle, IOLDK!! (its on like donkey kong) hahaha ;)

congrats to mentone girls for doing very well on the second day. and to the mentone boys for winning. both mentone and ed flemmings got very fired up towards the positional round and the play off and put on a great show for everyone. thanks to ed flemming boys team, even though we had that small issue about that foul line, it was still a great match to watch. cant wait for next year. later

Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone at Ed Fleming Lanes over the weekend...
It was a fantastic tournament, and i know everyone from Geelong had a great time..
It was also really good to see all the younger bowlers having alot of fun over the weekend, and hopefully they will go back for it next year..
Congratulations to the Mooroolbark Girls, and the Mentone boys... Everyone bowled really well...
It was a great tournament to finish my junior bowling...
