RESULTS CABOOLTURE 14th/15th July

Results attached for 5th Twin Tour Stop for 2007 at Caboolture ..... Dino Margiolas headed the Balls Handicap - he bowled well from the start to win from Cameron Fadl and David Cupit ... Dino had a high game of 257 and was out to prove that wins should stay in the family (his wife Alice won the Puffs at the last Tour Stop at Redcliffe) .... High game for the weekend went to young Dean McGregor with his 290.

Brent Murray (two weeks away from becoming a Dad) was the best of the 'scratchies' showing a clean pair of heels in front of Brendan Meads - Brent averaged 228.8 scratch with 34 of 74 Balls over the card.

Alicia Meads was easily the best of the Puffs in both the Handicap and Scratch division with her fine 217.7 average with Raelene Mayzes in 2nd place in both Handicap and Scratch (203.6) and Tracy Jacobs continuing her good form in 3rd (Hcp) and the ever consistent Rocky Mottlee taking 3rd in the Scratch div.

Scratch Pool attracted 13 bowlers and paid 5 places.

It was a very high scoring stop. As Caboolture always is. It's a pitty we had roll offs. Because I was bowling voth afternoons kicking off at 12.15 I was unale to make it. But a huge congrats goes out to those who bowled great. Let's hope that next year the dates don't clash. Congrats on such a successful stop Mary....

Don't worry Mini, there should be no clashes in 2008 as we are having a meeting with various organisations in September - we certainly were happy with the turnout considering all of you dedicated East Coast bowlers were committed and rightly so, for representative duties .... good luck to all and once again Congrats.

Vic Wilkins $100 remains safe for yet another tour stop ($100 for a 300 game) as he was pretty certain it would go off .... don't spend it in Adelaide, Vic.....
