Caboolture hosted the July Tour Stop for Twin Tour with 79 Balls and 36 Puffs. Star of the weekend was Bek Meads who outscored everyone for her 235.5 scr. ave. on a tougher than usual scoring condition. Bek took out the Scratch Pool also ... much to the chagrin of some of the Balls!
Balls Handicap winner was Paul Chambers who headed Peter Mifsud (leftie - so beware in the Lefties Challenge!) with seasoned trooper Joe Gatt taking
3rd place.
Balls Scratch division went to Peter Mifsud followed by ever-consistent Darrin Comrie and Darryl Alford.
Puffs Handicap and Scratch was dominated by Bek with Katie Kroehnert and another 'veteran' Jeanette Davis taking the placings.
TOTAL PRIZE FUND: $5925 (No 300 Vic so the $100 will jackpot !!!!!)
Once again, a good mixture of squads, averages and ages in the money and the travellers who continue to support are helping the Tour bowlers 'meet and greet' Thanks also to Caboolture Bowl (the pizzas were great), who continue to sponsor and support bowlers in many tournaments. The TEAM, as usual, continue their efficient work and the bowlers are to be thanked for making the work worthwhile. Please, please take time to check out the SPONSORS SHEET - they are wonderful.
