TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS
1. This is a scratch event which is open to all bowlers who are TBA Registered Players.
All games will be bowled in accordance with TBA rules and regulations.
2. No bowler is permitted to have more than one entry in this event.
3. Bowlers must wear acceptable attire. Jeans, track suits or shorts (men only) are not
permitted.
4. Should a tie occur for 16th place, a one game roll off will decide this position.
5. The Tournament Director reserves the right to check any bowler’s equipment at any
time. Any equipment found to breach TBA regulations will result in disqualification
with no claim on any prize money.
6. Bowlers are not permitted to smoke whilst actually competing in this tournament.
7. Any matters not covered in these conditions will be decided by the Tournament
Director, whose decision will be final...

BOWLING FORMAT
BASED ON 16 LANES - 96 ENTRIES
Qualifying Bowlers 15 games in 3 x 5 game appearances.
6 Bowlers per pair of lanes bowling 1 game against the other 5 bowlers head to head
40 for win 20 for draw + pinfall (Lane change after each game)
Example 6 bowlers on lanes 1&2 = 1 plays 6 - 2 plays 5 - 3 plays 4 - 1 plays 5 - 2 plays 4 etc
and so on until all bowlers have played each other (5 Games).
FINALS = Top 16 of qualifying rounds seeded into elimination finals.
Top 32 bowlers from sports series around Australia seeded into first set of 5 games.
Odds into squad A, Evens into squad B, giving an even cover of seeded bowlers.
Second set of 5 games, bowlers seeded by pinfall & points of first 5 games.
(Bowlers from Squad A seeded back into Squad A ) - (Bowlers from Squad B seeded back into Squad B)
The squad you are drawn into is the squad you stay in until the finals.
Third set of 5 games the same process as second set.
THE IDEA BEHIND THIS FORMAT IS THAT EVERY GAME YOU PLAY YOU HAVE A DIRECT
OPPONENT THAT YOU MUST BEAT TO RECEIVE THE BONUS POINTS.
