Having a belief in God is not a problem. I have never had a problem with anyone simply for thier beliefs. As that, I believe, would be discrimination. However, the problem lies with people who are uncapable of accpeting other peoples belief when they aren't the same as the ones they possess.
Obviously I'm not stating a secret fact, just stating the damned obvious.
Believing in God is perfectably acceptable if that makes you feel that you can lead a better life. As does having a belief in no God, assuming once again, that you feel this allows you to live a better life. Some people like to have that all powerful person watching them to keep them from doing the wrong thing. For others, the Laws set down by the Government and Police force are enough of a guideline.
Also, not believing in the God that we are told about doesn't mean one doesn't believe that there is a 'God' of some sort.
You may have opened up an interesting subject here, Wayne.
Later Da Cowman!
P.S. If this is a subject that interests you I highly recommend the book by Richard Dawkins called 'The God Delusion' regardless of your beliefs, or lack thereof.
