sorry amf but u cant deny your prices are way way way way way way inflated!!! i dont care how many staff members, oil, entertainments, whatever, ANYTHING you have to include to get your cost of games but 20 bucks (or whatever.. ok i dont live near an amf centre - i was quoted like 18$ for 1 game with shoes once before i told them i was there practicing for a tournament!!) a game is pathetic!

I dont know about you, but Victorian AMF centres charge $9.90 for 3 games, to all their league bowlers, whether you average 100, or 220, you still get the same rate.

Some proprietors are able to do a better deal, but most are about the same, if not more.

The only thing I find is that AMF sometimes have different agendas during different days/times. For example, I am quite lucky, there are times I get the afternoons off work. I know for a fact, if I rock up to Sunshine bowl, at 2 pm on any weekday, they are just about to oil their lanes, so I get a fresh condition. But if I rock up at 10 am saturday, it would be the leftover condition from the night before.

Doesnt hurt to call your local centre and see what they can do for you. There is always a solution to a problem, whether you want to find that solution and stop whinging is a different issue

AMF prices are now $5 a games for junior social bowlers with $2 shoe hire and $6 for adults with the same for shoe hire.Each game after that is only $5 and $6 respectively.

the thing i find weird about the prices is that if amf are charging $5 a game but $9.90 for 3 then it costs you more to bowl 2 games than it would to bowl 3...
i stumped if i know the reason behind this thinking...

Adult league rates r $5 for 1 game, and $9.90 for three, they do this to encourage us to bowl 3 games. Junior rates are $4.20 or so for a game.

Social rates are ridiculous, but luckily we dont have to worry about it do we. I am an AMF employee and the prices suck, especially cafe prices, lol. But the ppl pay that so they wont b changin em!!!!!
