Gold Coast Tournament Format questions

I see that not all the entrants are going to finish all 20 games of qualifying this week. What happens when a bowler drops out? Do their upcoming matches become automatic wins for their opponents?

Also, how are the 6 bowler groupings made? Random draw or by another method?

Lastly, can we see which pattern was used for each squad?

Patterns for each squad;

Deadman's curve - squad 1
Highway to Hell - squad 2
Winding Road - Squad 3

groupings are made by a random draw for squad 1.

groupings are made by seedings 1 to 75 for squad 2 with seed 1 on lane 1/2 and seed 2 on lane 3/4 and so on until all lanes are full.

new seedings after squad 2 will be same as above for squad 3.

at the completion of 15 games qualifying matchplay the top 16 will be announced. Prize fund as per entry form.

But what about the bowlers who failed to finish? Were their opponents given an automatic 40 point win?

No they were given the withdrawn bowler's tournament average less 10 pins to win.
