2010 to be a year of advancement

It is my pleasure to announce that the ACT Tenpin Bowling Association has finally managed to acquire some solid IT services. I realise this might not mean much to everyone, but this is the result;

1. We have an easy to remember website now. http://www.acttba.org.au/
2. We have easy to remember emails; [email protected] (etc)
3. We have an integrated calendar for events
4. We have a document library for collaboration and sharing to the public

In case you didn't see the golden egg, it is now so easy for us to get information out to the world in a reliable fashion. The documents are versioned, you will know exactly what you're looking at. Everything can be easily found. Constitutions, rules, all that fun stuff all in one place... I'll save my nerdy excitement over the techno-offering, just take my word for it.

So please check out http://www.acttba.org.au/ and in particular the AGM washup in the announcements section. You can subscribe to those announcements via RSS just like the old blog which will be closing down quite soon.

Very Nice Jeff, i am checking it out now and the Posse will have there eyes watching for tournaments and championships when they are on.

It looks very professional compared to the last site you were using, that is not to say the last one was not of any good standard but this is definetly a step in the right direction.

Keep up the good work for the bowling community of the ACT.

Yeah the last one was very restricted being on my own hosting and using a blog product. This one I gave to Angy to do using a proper content management tool, she's done a fine job thus far
