AMF Australia in association with Ebonite is pleased to announce the 2006 EBONTIE SOUTH PACIFIC CLASSIC.

This year’s event will also double as Australia's World Cup Qualifier. The highest placed Australian in both the Male and Female Divisions will represent Australia at the 42nd AMF Bowling World Cup in Caracas, Venezuela in early November.

In addition to the SPC Cup, the winner of each Division will also take home the prestigious Ebonite Cup and a new Ebonite Bowling Ball.

Ebonite will also be awarding a One Years Sponsorship deal to a male and female bowler competing at this year’s event.

Entry forms can be downloaded from the following Link.

Entries will be accepted via this post, however, due to a history of bowlers filling up squads early only to drop out in the last week, we will be requiring all nominations to pay a minimum of $100 deposit to secure their spot. If a deposit is not received within one week on nominating on this forum, your name will be removed.

I look forward to seeing you all in Melbourne for what promises to be another exciting tournament.

AMF National Tournament Director

Finally, a tournament director with a plan. I've been saying all along that no spots should be reserved without an actual commitment from the bowler and now we have it.

One more thing that would really help even the playing field. Stop allowing the bowlers to pick their squads. The 'elite' bowlers always bowl the same squads as each other, which they know from past years to be the higher scoring squad, making scoring parity virtual impossible. A system, modeled after the PBA tournaments, wherein the bowlers rotate squads each tournament would be a huge change for the better. Over the course of the year a bowler could be allowed one or two squad switches if requested in advance.

Can you please add Cassie Staudinger, Stephen Cowland and Michael Craig to 'C' squad?

Thank You,
Cassie.

Could you please put Alan Notman & Jenny Camilleri into C Squad please.

Thank you,

Jenny & Alan ;)
