Just wanted to let those bowlers who have the money and the time that there are 2 tournaments back to back in jakarta from the 12-22 October.
Ancol Open is paying around US14,000 1st place, 9000 2nd and pretty good money to 10th, but it drops away after that. Its a 4 game re qualifier and 16 game total pinfall final.
The Super Classic is paying US10,000 1st and starts a day after the Open, its a 4 day classic style event.
Accommodation is silly cheap at $50 a night for a double. As for bombs and other risks...you are well out of the city in Ancol and Christina at the centre will point you in the right direction. She runs a very professional tournament.
