URGENT! - Invitation to host WWC and the Congresses 2011
The World Tenpin Bowling Association Presidium has announced that it has withdrawn the award of the Women's World Championships 2011 to Malaysia. According to Christer Jonsson, WTBA Secretary General, the reason is that it has not been possible to agree on a written contract about the championship and the Congresses.
Because the WTBA Presidium had to withdraw the WWC 2011 from Malaysia it now invites all WTBA member federations to apply to host the world championship and the WTBA/FIQ Congresses in conjunction with the championship.
It is preferable if the championship can be held in the same period as previously planned (Aug. 31 through Sept. 11, 2011). If any potential host wants another period the WTBA Presidium is willing to discuss that.

The deadline for applications to host WWC 2011 and the Congresses is July 15, 2010.
