:confused::confused::confused: a son of a judge is a criminal, then the criminals father is a lawyer, what is the relation of the judge to the criminal ??? :surrender::surrender::surrender:

;););) let me know what you come up with and if you got any similar tricky questions just post it here and we will try to answer it.

cheers guys

two possible answers

1) the judge is the crim's mother
2) the judge who is ALWAYS a lawyer is the crim's father.

I'm missing the trick to this exercise... The opening sentence
a son of a judge is a criminal
clearly indicates the relationship: Criminal is Son of Judge

So the inverse reads, Judge is Parent of Criminal...

What's the correct tricky answer?

are there four people?

i mean, the riddle cold be that there is a son, the sons father, and the fathers father. That would give two fathers and two sons with 3 people. 3 people 3 ducks?

One father and one son will shoot the other father and the other son, bury them in a shallow grave and leave to go home and eat the 3 wild ducks they caught that day for dinner.

Wasn't that a nice little story :) :p

Instead of giving 1/9, 1/2, & 1/3 of 17 cows to each lad he could add his cow back in to make 18.
He then takes his 1 which is 1/18 of 18 cows,
Lad 1 takes 1/9 of 18 cows which is 2 cows,
Lad 2 takes 1/2 of 18 cows which is 9 cows,
Lad 3 takes 1/3 of 18 cows which is 6 cows.
So 1 cow + 2 cows + 9 cows + 6 cows - 18 cows!

Fair and not as messy as chopping cows up.

Or;

they could breed the cows till they have an amount they factors evenly, like 54.

:confused::confused:. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out! Try to do so without any coaching!;);););):surrender::surrender::surrender:

Yesterday, today, tomorrow.

or

Chritmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day.

The Lions would be dead if they hadn't eaten in three years.
