8-time PWBA titlist and defending champion Cara Honeychurch posted 8-game blocks of 1865 and 1728 to lead the Greater Harrisburg Open after the second round. The Australian lefthander averaged 224.56 overall to hold a 94-pin margin over Marianne DiRupo, who is attempting to make her fourth consecutive TV appearance. Third place belonged to Dede Davidson, with Lisa Bishop fourth and Rachel Perez fifth. The top 24 bowlers advanced to match play on Friday.
