Frawley wins the 2006 H.H. Emir Cup

For those of you who missed it!

Frawley was crowned the new H.H. Emir Cup 2006 champion and won 50,000QRS after defeating Syed Ibrahim of UAE, 448-404 in the final stepladder match.

Frawley, who topped qualified both the 8-game top 24 finals and another 8-game top 12 finals with a total of 3484.
Frawls defeated fourth-seed and winner of the second stepladder match, Sayed Ibrahim of UAE, 221-211 in the first match.

Andrew proved too strong for his opponent by easily taking the second and deciding match, 227-193 to claim this year's Emir Cup title.
Sayed settled for second despite knocking out favorite and second-seed, Ahmed Shaheen of Qatar, 643-607 over three games.

The top 16 made the cut for the first leg of the 2006 ABF Tour - Qatar which was contested at the same venue on the 28th February.

Congratulations Andrew, Thats a wonderfull effort. One of Austalias best doing well overseas. How much would that be in Australian dollars Jase?
