Reports just in indicate that a local NQ bowler has made an amazing discovery in his own backyard.

The local bowler was digging around, and in what could be the find of the year, found a bowling treasure previously thought to have disappeared forever.

Local authorities are staying quiet about the exciting find, which they have affectionately nicknamed "Bill", but in a quote from a local spokesman "Bowling in NQ is set to benefit greatly from this exciting find".

Local emergency services are on standby, for it is thought once word spreads, people of all ages will be clamouring for a look.

This journalist was afforded an exclusive sneak preview of the recovered artefact, and was moved by it awesome power. I am sure I speak for all of NQ is saying "Welcome to NQ "Bill" - where the sun shines, the beer is cold, the people are friendly and the rest of Australia........well who really cares!!!!!!! "
