Should be an absolute cracker
I would give my left nut to be playing in it, and have wanted to get the chance to roll-off to play a home Rachuig for a long time, but I can't.

Having said that, I wish all those bowlers in their respective divisions all the very best of luck in their attempts to make THE team.

Looks like with the large number of people bowling, they might need some help in running the show

ok so it is now known that i am rolling off.

i SHOULD be a pushover as im not quite up to the standards of competition bowling yet.

my current league average is 176 (but dont take launceston conditions word for it )

looking forward to the challenge and honestly guys i dont mind if i make it or dont. I'm not expecting anything.

i will be using VERY old equipment for rolloffs. but not quite as old as norm greens dynamite haha!

Nah Matty it's not a big name bowler.

I would've rolled off just for the fun of being a part of it - as cobbling the $160 together to roll-off wouldn't have been a problem - as one of my family members was going to donate it to me.

The only thing that was nagging in the back of my mind was, that if I had really caught alight and performed well, and had made it, there was no way known that I could have afforded to have bowled in all the compulsory tournaments as a lead up to Rachuig, afforded to get to training, afforded all the other associated fees surrounding Rachuig (uniforms, accomodation, lineage fees etc etc) and then there was the small matter of upgrading badly outdated equipment.

So from that point of view it was "no contest yer 'onour"

The only way I would've rolled off would've been if, in the event of making the team, that I agreed on the spot to step aside and let the next person go through, should that eventuate.

Rolling off for it would've been great fun, but I'll help run things on the sidelines if I'm needed.

PS: Good to see ya back Loco - I can always organise Norm to lend you the Dynamite for rolloffs now he's quit bowling again
