Matty .... Believe the top 2 on the list are now not bowling ..... I have been known to be wrong in the past .... but Ive been told that from a reasonably reliable source! Still even if that is the case, 25 men and 10 women is an excellent turn out.

getting closer now ...... should be good fun and a close finish would be expected i would think.

Oh and by the way too, for some of the mainlanders reading the list, the Lance Dyer listed here is not the Lance Dyer from Victoria - just thought I'd clear that one up ;)

Just to let you Chris A is bowling, i have recieved his entry. I will post later tonight with the full list of who is rolling off. I can't remember ATM.

Jackie

I will give you 1,000,000 to 1 and the cost of your bowling centre that the 14 you have suggested will NOT be the EXACT SAME 14 that make the teams.

Are you willing to take those odds?

ill take those odds, bank a lazy $10 and fly down to knee cap the rest of them if you are serious about those odds ;)

im sure droooo will withdraw for me if i offer him half

*runs*

This is entirely fun, I'm scared of Tasmanians. thankyou.

its hard enough to pick 'the' team any year, let alone this year with such a big field of quality bowlers ........ and the problem is, anyone who wants to pick a team is free to do so ..... but it is going to be subject to 'scrutiny'

lets consider who has been left out of the team 'selected' by kaniva;
- Garry Crick
- Hayden George
- Andrew Phillips
- Mark Foster
- Adam Lucock
- Paul Oakley

I could go on with other names ........ (and no offence intended to anyone I havent mentioned)

I think my main point is, while everyone is entitled to their opinion and free speech etc, the 'selecting' of teams only causes debate and argument that is not always positive. Lets just let the roll-offs take place, see who performs and makes the team over the 2 weekends, and then support those 7 men and 7 women fully from that stage on.
