Was anyone not named to a seniors team?

Reading the long list of bowlers who'll be travelling to Manila for the Asian Seniors Bowling Championships, leaves me wondering.......did anyone miss out who nominated for a spot on the teams?

You would have made it your business to find out the criteria I am sure.

Perhaps you just enjoy stirring the pot - or did you nominate and miss out? Maybe you are the ONLY one to miss out.

I probably would have nominated , if I was good enough of course , but didn't because of the criteria , although I think after looking who made it , that didn't matter.

I wasn't old enough for last years australian championships, although I was on the Adult Ranking table. Maybe that might have been enough. ??

Well done to all that made it! I'm sure they will have a ball !!

You met the criteria by bowling 1 ranked open event in 2008 - it does not matter that you could have been 48 at the time.

Unfortunately I didn't understand the criteria at the time of reading it.
Wasn't really set-out clearly I thought.
Not that I would have nominated of course ??
Too much on my plate this year!

this is probably the only point you where you missed out on :

from the entry form:

"Bowlers must be fifty (50) years old or above for Senior Bracket, sixty (60) years old or above fora Grand Senior Bracket as of the end of the year 2008"

sure if you asked someone, they would beat you up a bit so that you looked 50!!!

Yep I'd agree Longy....very rough exteriors...not sure about the feelings though ....why didn't you nominate for Manilla ?? parole officer never gave permission? ...do what I do .. send her shopping.....never mind..thats more expensive than going to Manilla ..
