That being said West Ham are playing good football at the moment - having the Hammer's in top flight football is great for the EPL as they are a very popular club.
My boys made a unimpressive start to their defense against Wigan. But a great strike by Crespo secured the 3 points. Should be a great match in an hour v Arsenal who were equally unimpressive last start.
Let the games begin!!!

UNITED! Manchester United that is! Off to a fantastic start, especially compared to last season.
2 Wins from 2 and clean sheets. Possibly our keeper problem has been sorted out. The win against Villa was good in that so many times last season we should have won, but ended up with a draw. Something they corrected against Villa. Lets just hope it keeps going.

As a West Ham fan i did go to the cop the last year of all standing to see Liverpool v West Ham great game but we lost 2-0 i was in Liverpool's end as well so i had to be quiet....... my mate a pom was a Liverpool fan so i coped it of him..... i dont know how they used to have that many people in that area as it was packed but they used to have 10000 more in that end????

Wow, impressive start to the season by Liverpool.
Left back has been exposed.. Rafa showing no regard to weaker teams..
It would be so sad to see them miss Europe, after all they wont win the Champions League to save them this season!!

Funnily enough, predicted the scoreline to Cow before the match and he thought I had lost the plot!...
Happy with the performance although how much I can take out of it is debateable. West Brom have a very poor defense, it will be no surprise if other teams put 4 or more past them as the season progresses.
Looking forward to the next match against Tottenham, who will be keen to avenge this mornings effort against Blackburn. We should be able to hold them out and extend the streak to 4 from 4!

I will admit that since West Brom haven't beaten us since 1979 it was always going to be an up hill battle for them. Yes Tottenham will be a little more of a challenge though I'm sure Cole and Lampard will still give it to them Only 3 more sleeps till the Spurs feel the heat!!

Newcastle just cannot not attack. The two terrible mistakes by the one defender cost them the game. Edwin is proving a great signing in between the posts. After watching the Highlights tonight Newcastle never really looked like scoring a goal. Our defense is beginning to play as well as it can do, and thats without Neville. Promising times lay ahead.

Lampard will continue to improve, Crespo is bound to play better then he has in recent matches, (We really should consider playing Crespo and Drogba upfront together)
An interesting start to the season, all Arsenal supporters are dreaming if they think they will be in contention this season!!!
