For you senior bowlers in Sth Qld, please note the change this year to this event:
The 2008 Seniors Masters Tournament will be held in conjunction with the Qld South State Championships in Rockhampton over the weekends of 26 & 27 April, and 3,4, & 5 May 2008.
Bowlers must have attained the age of 50 or above in the year of this competition to be eligible to nominate for the Senior Masters.
Bowlers are required to compete in the Singles, Doubles and Team Events in these championships in order to establish an All Events score over 9 games. The Masters Champions will be decided by the addition of your All Events Score in the championships, PLUS pinfall from an 8 game playoff which is to be held on Monday 5th May 2008 at 9am. The bowler with the highest scratch score after the 17 games will be the Senior Masters Champion.
Nomination fee for the Masters is $10 which needs to be paid with your all events entry for the State Championships. YOU NEED TO ACHIEVE A 9 GAME ALL EVENT SCORE BEFORE ROLLING THE FINAL 8 GAMES. The Entry fee for the 8 game playoff will be $60, and must be paid before commencement of the final on Monday 5th May.
Prizemoney to be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placegetters depending on the number of nominations received.
