Hypercell = Hyperhook!
For all those people who wonder why when they hit the 1-3 flush and still leave this standing, this website for some unknown reason goes into alot of detail explaining it. Pictures, Videos, you name it

A little bizarre but hey, thats bowling!

Nelson Burton Jnr and Mike Durbin were explaining this in the late 80's and early 90's on ABC and ESPN coverages of the PBA. The pro's have known about this for 15 years or more.

The only thing they can't explain is why on this occassion the head pin twists in this manner instead of continuing to the left as it normally does. Is it the rack? The angle of entry? Slightly out of round pin? A grip or weight hole catching the head pin on a certain angle? The alignment of the planets? Feng Shui?

Who knows?
