Queanbeyan City Masters was held on the 30/11 and 1/12 with a large field of bowlers the final results are:

Restricted Masters
Ladies Divison
1st Annette Mungovan (Ave 178)
2nd Sue Tapper (Ave 167)

Mens Divison
1st Greg Ward (Ave 185)
2nd Reg Gooch (Ave 191)
The Restricted Master final format was double elimination and the ladies final match went to a repercharge. The winners recieved a perpetual Trophy, Masters Champion Jacket and a cheque for $250.00, the Runners Up in the Mens Divsion recieved $100.00 and Ladies Divison recieved $80.00

Mens Divsion
1st Vic Trevascus (Ave 215)
2nd John Johnson (Ave 184)
The Seniors Masters final format was Double elimination for the Mens Divison however the ladies bowled a straight 8 games total pinfall due to limited numbers. The winners recieved a Perpetual trophy, a Masters Champion Jacket and a cheque for $250.00, the Runners Up in the Mens divsion $80.00 and Ladies Divison $50.00

Open Masters
Ladies Divison

2nd Janet Ward (Ave 188)

Mens Divison
1st Chris Bateup (Ave 204)
2nd Mark Jordan (Ave 199)

The Open Masters final format for the Mens Divison was feild bowled 6 games and then cut to top 6 with pinfall carring over and then head to head match play with a top 3 step lader, the ladies divison was 8 games total pinfall due to a lack of competitors. The winners recieved a Perpetual Trophy, Masters Champion Jacket and a cheque for $500.00 with the runners up in the mens division recieved $100.00 and Ladies Divsion $50.00.

Overall Queanbeyan City Championship and Masters Events where a huge success with numbers almost doubling from last year and all competitors bowled well, I would like to thank everyone who entred events and all our sponsors for supporting this years Championships- Pepsi, Cadbury Schweppes, Aussie Clobber Sportswear, Elaines Gourment Pies and Dean's Trophie Centre. Also a big thankyou to the Tournament Committee and volunteers who helped out, Mark Hohmuth, Lance Hickey, Cheryl Dennis and Tracey Lee Wightman, thanks everyone for all your help in making this years event such a big success.
