Who would make the top 7 male achievers?
The top shelf would have to include FIQ,National T,ment wins,Rachuig.
There are 3 who qualify on all accounts.
Ironically from 3 different era,s.
Ken Sheehan,1st World FIQ capt, dominated during the late 60,s and through the 70,s.
Tom Kury,late 70,s to late 80,s ,7 FIQ,s,and unmatched sequence of 5 ATBC B.O.Y awards,80,81,82,83,84,runner up 85.
In Kens twilight yrs Carl Bottomley was in nappies, through Toms,he was a Junior National/International superstar, then from mid 80,s onwards a Senior superstar.
The second shelf is..Alan Atkins (MR.Koolfoam)and a prolific winner.Needed FIQ,and to win interstate more to have joined top shelf.
Off set with Mark Ramsay, who had a much shorter time span but racked up National achievements ,the SPC,NSW open,Brisbane Cup,Koolfoam and a load of intrastate wins.
3rd shelf.Tony (Pablo) Kelly, won the majors intrastate, but not interstate, but always at the highest level.
Ian Hughes, long distinguished career, lots of intrastate wins.A thousand Rachuigs.
First Reserve.Morty Douglass.so far.
Not a bad team.
Sheehan.(Capt)
Kury (vice capt)
Bottomley.
Atkins.
Ramsay.

Pablo Kelly.
Hughes.
2 (different )lefties,2 swingers,3 down the liners.Ideal Rachuig blend. Each knows how to win.
1st Res..Morty Douglass.
4th shelf is chock a block.
From Ray Reid winning the National Masters,to all the interstate winners in between.
There are too many gaps i dont know about, like how many QLDers apart from the above mentioned have won a major, interstate.?
