Positional Rounds

Observer
Not sure if this topic has been raised before but I am interested in bowlers opinions on bowling positional rounds.
I believe that after bowling x amount of games of match play why do we need a positional round.
There are times when the finishing order is unchanged but in many cases bowlers can jump or fall many positions.

One of my leagues has had this in their schedule for many years. It is only bowled on the last round of league competition and is like a "grand final". It can be an exciting round which gives every team a chance of improving (or dropping) one place. Others feel that if a team has bowled well all season and have a substantial points lead at the end why should they risk losing their league championship on one round. It is certainly a talking point and should be clearly established before the league commences so that all bowlers know whether there will be a positional round/s. Some bowlers like them some dont. It is up to each league to decide.
