Polyester Ball Tournament

Just to put the idea out there amonst the masses. Who would b interested in bowling in a polyester ball tournament where as the name suggests the only ball you use is a polyester. Just looking at numbers, I believe it would b interesting as it would bring accuracy and talent back into the game. PLS post any pros and cons and/or whether you would be interested in bowling in suck a tournament.

Would be interesting if some of us don't have a urethane ball to use.
if it's going to be a polyester ball tournament the ball must be a white dot team storm target zone maxim flamming T a Rio blue dot Big blue spare ball have i forgotten any if so really sorry.

I'll bowl in it, sounds like fun. Urethane balls hook alot more than polyester balls though.

I'd strongly consider bowling a plastic ball only tournament.

Considering our lanes have, in the past, been dry enough that most people end up using their plastic anyway we would be all too happy to run a plastic ball tournament.

There are a number of dates and times we could use. Here are a few suggestions.

Sunday April 23rd 4pm.
Friday April 28th 7:30pm.
Sunday May 14th 4pm.

Check in would be open 15 minutes prior to advertised start time.

The tournament would be 8 games scratch with a $60 entry fee and the following payouts.
1st - $200
2nd - $150
3rd - $100
Prize fund is based on 20 bowlers.
The highest scratch score outside of the top three placings will receive a brand new Columbia White Dot, Ebonite Maxim or AMF Boogie.

Any suggestions as to format or date and time then just leave a post here. We are open to changing the date and format to whatever the bowlers want just let us know.
