To answer Chris' question earlier, I tend to trust that if we ask a tech thats been around the industry for that long in Andrew Dingle to write a short sports pattern, that he will be able to write one. If in the off chance he doesn't, we then pay him out for being a Ford supporter.

Too many people whinge about those that have had previous exposure to PBA patterns that they have an advantage over the rest of the field. It's not the greatest feeling going into a tournament knowing if you happen to win it, it will more than likely close down the entire series. I will never AGAIN go into a tournament not WANTING to win it.

Therefore, from now on, no one will know what the pattern is except the lane man until the event. That way no one can whinge when things don't suit them.

Squads are limited to 18 entries at this stage, (3 per pair) so if you want a specific squad, get your name down as soon as possible. Reentries will be accepted on the day.

Those that have their name down for A squad will now be required to pay a deposit to Keep their spot. If you prefer a direct deposit, please let me know and ill PM you the details. People without deposits by 1st of January will be placed on the reserve list in order of their request for their names down, and will have priority entries into Squad 2.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING DEPOSITS...

IF having to withdraw from the event due to injury/emergency/other legitimate reason, deposit will either be refunded or transfered through to the next event. We did have someone withdraw from the last event due to injury after paying a deposit, and their deposit has been transfered to this event. Deposits are only being asked to make the event a sucessfull one so it runs to its potential.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hey Tonx,

True, cant make everyone happy BUT if there are people who are serious about the sport and their ability to prepare for a tournament, then everyone should know what pattern being used.

People who whinge about the pattern are the ones who have not seen or tried to practice or to prepare themselves... ball drillings & surfaces...

But, its your tourney and wish you well buddy...

Will get Chaddy Boyz down to support...

Shaping up to be a great one.

Thanks to the guys that have paid deposits already. When the deposits finish transfering, I will update the thread.

Those in squad 1 that haven't paid the deposit must do so to bowl in the squad now, as there are paid up people in the reserve list ready and waiting to take your spots.

Those in the reserve list, I have automatically put you into squad 2 at this stage!

Thanks for the response so far guys, add the Chaddy boys and a few more regulars, and we will have a big one to start off the year!
