These are great numbers and looks like it's going to be a great weekend of bowling.

We would like to thank Leanne for all the hard work she has put in over the last week to get those numbers up, wasn't looking too good on Thursday night.

Alan & Jenny

Have to agree Al it was looking bleak on Thursday but apart from people adopting my old habit of putting entries in on the last day I also would like to extend my appreciation to Leanne on the hard work put in to boost those entries.

Alan,
Give yourself a pat on the back,
you did a great job recruiting as well.

To all those rolling off for east coast this weekend i would like to wish all the best of luck and am looking forward to seeing quite a few familiar faces in Sept.

Like to wish all the boys that bowled in the successful team last year at Moorabbin and made my job as Manager a very easy one good luck again for this year. I also wish all other bowlers good luck for this weekend. A warm welcome to all those trying out for the first time. I have attached a spreadsheet containing the names of all those listed by Leeanne as entered so if your name is not in it then please contact her or the MTBA office. Note this is not the official entry list and should not be taken as it as I am not an official of the MTBA.

cheers Bastie

Good luck to all rolling off this year... Unfortunately I am unable to bowl this year due to work commitments...

Can anyone clarify the female dress code for me? On the entry form it seems to imply females must wear skirts, however on the "Confirmation of Entry" letter I received it states that skirts are "preferred". So can anyone advise which it is? Considering our recent temperatures it would be nice not to be forced into wearing a skirt.

Cheers!

OK thanks for the clarification I wasn't sure as it did clearly state "preferred" on the confirmation letter. Hope it reaches a decent temp tomorrow before we have to bowl

Hopefully it's warmer there than it is here Lana. I woke up and everything is white as white and the temperature starts with a minus sign!!

Good luck to all this weekend.

Liz

YES ALL FEMALES MUST HAVE A SKIRT ON OR YOU ARE NOT ABLE OT BOWL
JEANETTE
Sorry but what a joke. Its not the 1950s is it. I haven't see a girl bowl in a skirt for 5 years. The favored form of attire is skorts. Ie dress shorts. Tailored and very neat Would be a shame if somebody turns up in skorts and cant bowl.
Just my opinion. I do understand dress code but this is taking things just a little far
Oh and good luck to all bowling to hope nobody has to pull out suffering from frost bit

I was told our lovely league secretary Lana Hart, bowled a 186 average yesterday. Go you good thang. Must be the mini skirt ;)
Congratulations also to the "ever cool" Nicole McPartlane for bowling her 300 game. Talk of the town was your tenth frame :p
Alex

Hi All
Results from Stage 1 are now on the MTBA website under "Results"

Only scratch scores are shown. Graded lists will be posted once all averages have been received and verified.

Big congratulations to Nicole McPartlane for bowling 300 in game 5 of the roll off.

Thanks

Graham
