If you want people to think of bowling as purely a pastime (as some do), go right ahead...allow drinking during a tournament. Ludicrous though.

a while ago i was right into bowling 10 years ago
and slowly lost interest and started drinking while playing but i am a very happy drunk so there would be no problem with people but i dont think it should be allowed to get to far i also play a grade pool and to have a couple of drinks to calm the nerves is accepted as is a few extra
but to make a idiot of urself is not
as soon as you start to annoy others something should be said
i was once told in a youth league that i was drunk when i turned up at to leave , i had no problem with that as i knew the rules when they were put into the constitution i was very bad though falling off chairs and stuff
but i have never been that bad ever
a couple is allright but annoyance is not
