Just wondering, what is your favorite brand of bowling shoes and why?

I personally like Dexters, although i did use Dyntothanes for a while, and they were quite nice.

Interested to hear your opinions.

Dynoroos are now called 3g.

Longest lasting, lightest weight, most versatile shoes on the market. Bar NONE. The cleats option especially allows better bowlers to fine tune, rather than completely change their slide.

Used the Dynaroos for a few years... were good, but had trouble planting with them... I don't slide.

Used Dexters before and after them... the SST 7 LE's were great for me.

I like my Dexter SST8s but have never used anything else so can't say how they compare.

well i use brunswick and there great i love em i hardly have to use a brush on them but i do for good measure every now and then when i feel it needs doing.

Dynoroos...have used them for a while now....haven't had any problems with them

Well apperantly I am living in the 70's isnt that right Mitchell ;) but I love my linds I have the EXXXtra 2's and I cant complain at all Never have a issue with slideing or sticking at all

Haha Scott!
Well i'm in this Century with my Dexter SST6's
Linds are fine, as long as they slide they are a good bowling shoe.

They must be good, Carl Bottomley and Adrian Shelton use them!

In my previous bowling life I used the old school Linds. Absolutley amazing shoe. I bought a new pair of Classics a couple of years ago. Seems they are not made to anywhere near the standard they were for many, many years. I now have SST8s. Very nice show to bowl in, wearing out a bit quick for my liking though. Maybe I should have gone the 'roos.

oh well if carl uses them then they must be good

Scott, we all know Carl could bowl in a pair of thongs and make it look good.

The only thing wrong about that comment is the fact you typed top end bowler...

i should have patented the "DYNO-THONG"...They were a huge hit...:D

...patent it now Jase - in my view house shoes will largely be irrelevant within the next five or so years as synthetic approaches become more available - in some markets they are almost that now. People who arrive to bowl with no shoes will be able to rent a pair using a vending machine - just as they do now in Japan and elsewhere....and, should they wish to, bowling enthusiasts will be able to use normal street wear [appropriate souls of course] instead of paying outrageous sums for exotic specialist bowling shoes.

I can recommend a very good patent attorney...cheers

Steve
