Changes to Virgin baggage allowances for sporting equipement

Just letting people know that up until recently bowlers were given an extra 5kg for sporting equipement when they flew Virgin on top of the 23kg allowance. Apparently this is only in effect for bookings made prior to the end of April this year. From now all new bookings will not have this extra allowance.

I'm not sure what TBA has negoiated but I would strongly advise that you have it in writing and be able to present it to the check in staff upon request.

I hope the woman at the Virgin desk enjoys her 15lb Storm Anarchy. Definetly the last time I fly with Virgin.
