Bowling Tragic
Got a news scoop for ya'll..

According to a story on PBA.com, Jason Belmonte has recently joined the PBA and will be bowling in the PBA Team Shootout hosted by Six Flags Great America on June 5-8

Looks like the stage just got bigger!
Go BELMO

Mentions the he recently became a member, but I'm not sure that would mean he's joining the tour

"The PBA Team Shootout Hosted by Six Flags, also sponsored by the United States Bowling Congress (USBC), will take place June 5-8 at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Ill. The 18 players include the 16 champions from the 2007-08 Denny’s PBA Tour along with one additional player designated by the PBA, PBA Hall of Famer Pete Weber, and another designated by major sponsor USBC, World Bowler of the Year Jason Belmonte from Australia. Belmonte just recently became a PBA member."

This is a big thing for him and Australian Bowling.

Wow. I am so happy for him! That's REALLY exciting!
And he gets to play in shorts!

I hope there's enough room on the left side of the approach before he falls of those elevated lanes.

I can hear the commentary...
Randy Pedersen: "I think Jason's making a line change deep inside on lane 1, Rob..."
Rob Stone: "Why's that, Randy?"
Randy: "The shoulder pads and helmet are a clue..."

Goodonya Belmo! ;)
