And.. Management of the Tenpin Bowling Show last week decided that we should be staging Australia's own Shoot-Out on Television.
Details on which centre will host the event and invitations for bowlers wishing to participate will be announced soon.
The Shoot-Out will be Televised approx three weeks after the event.

Sounds like a great idea Tony, looking forward to seeing who gets invited and where it will be held

Ok great idea. Heres my idea. Have a regional shoot out ie at each center. Charge $50. Everybody bowls one game. Top 50% go through to next game. And so on till you are left with one. Regional prise fund of $100 for winner. Rest goes into kitty to pay for travel to the state winners to go to a central center to compete against the best from the other states. Would take a bit of orginisation but think it can be done.

What are your thoughts

Nice idea philby, but it should be restricted to those people which it is their home centre. I dont want to see bowlers who lost out at home go to another centre and cheat the locals out of an opportunity.

It Should be open for everyone

Brendan, what he's getting at is to stop 'double-dipping' from other roll-offs. For example, I bowl at Mt Louisa, then go to Kirwan because I didn't make it first time round.

Anyway, back on topic again... Who wants to go halves in pay TV at my place ;)

So only the people from the really easy houses make the finals..? Sounds like the ultimate carry contest. I'm sure Tony has some good ideas.

Back on topic. Looking forward to this! Thanks good folks of Orange!
