US Open -Day 1WE

Well, all I can say is this is as tough as it gets. The pattern set down for this years event is flatter than a billiard table. 3 boar to 3 board is dead flat (600 microliters to 24 feet) gutter to 2 board (400 microliters to 24 feet) which is buffed out to 40 feet. Anyway, the leaders are Don Dupree and Mike Danielson at +160/6. If you want anidea of how good these guys are. Then those scores on this condition should tell you.

Mick is at -27 which is very good on a condition thaat really doesnt suit his game and he is very much in contention for the first cut which is the top 1/4 of the field of 349. Thats right - 349. I am currently at +59 which is far above my expectations which puts me about 32nd but there is a long way to go. Another 6 games today then I will update again.

Everyone here has been very nice to us and have gone out of their way to help us.
