George Frilingos and Glen Loader from Australia have WON SILVER in the Men's Doubles event at the III Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Championship in Melbourne this afternoon.
With a combined Team total of 2519, a last block of 421 wasn’t enough to take the Gold from a fast finishing Malaysian team 2546, who came from third place with a 479 last game to take Gold. New Zealand and England tied for the Bronze on 2463.
Loader has picked up his first Medal for the championships, while Frilingos has now has a Silver to add to his Bronze Medal from the singles yesterday.
