Frilingos Wins Bronze for Australia

Queenslander George Frilingos has kicked started Australia’s medal tally by winning a BRONZE medal in the Men’s Singles event at the III Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Championship in Melbourne today. Bowling on the long oil Frilingos was solid from game one with scores of 210,210,214,218,200,195 with a 6 game total of 1247 (+47) averaging 207.8 along the way.

Glen Loader from Victoria over come a nervous start to post scores of 146,175,236,225,171,214 for a 6 game total of 1167 (-33) averaging 194.5 to finish 12th.

Jon Zadel from England took the Gold 6 game total of 1314 and
Sonith Lockhart from the Bahamas took the silver with a 1253 total.

My money would be firmly on George and Glen to win the doubles.....

George can't miss on the short, and all Glen needs to do is fire with him.
