The Australian Adult FIQ teams will be travelling to the SCAA Bowling Centre in Hong Kong to compete in the 17th Asian Zone FIQ Championships which officially start on the 29th June, 2002. The Australian teams consist of 6 Men : Ronald Voukolos (Captain), Anthony Flynn, Billy Gardiner, Jason Belmonte, Paul Trotter & Mac Stewart; and 6 Women : Sue Cassell (Captain), Amanda Bradley, Ann-Maree Putney, Kate Wilton, Debbie Baldock & Cathy Elwell.

There has been a website created to cover the Asian Zone FIQ event being held in Hong Kong from June 29th -> July 6th.

The bowling program will commence with the Official Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception on Saturday, 29 June, followed by Official Practice on Sunday, 30 June.

Six games of Singles in both Men’s and Women’s divisions will be bowled on Monday, 1 July, with another six games of Doubles in both divisions on Tuesday 2 July.

The first block of three games in the Trios event will commence on the morning of Wednesday, 3 July followed by the first block of three games of the Teams (of five bowlers) event. The second blocks of the Trios and Teams events will be held on Thursday, 4 July.

Top 16 bowlers from the combined 24 games will then contest the first eight games of the Masters Final in a one game round-robin format on the morning of 5 July.

The Championships will culminate on Saturday, 6 July with the final block of eight games in the Men’s and Women’s Masters Final in the morning, and a three-game Stepladder Grand Final at 12 noon.

Looks like a great site but I can't help but think I have seen something similar recently before, maybe the Asian Schools site???
