Yes congrats to Ashley Riley from Tassie for coming equal third with Chris Barrett of WA in the men's as did Jennifer Jones of NSW, coming equal third with Tracey Madden of Victoria in the ladies. As we all know there is no single third place as the bowlers play the semi finals and then whoever wins those two matches makes the finals.

Dianne Robinson did a fantastic job against Jayde, pushing her all the way, as did Glen against Mac. The masters was fantastic to watch, with some very very close matches making it a bit nerve wracking for the spectators, let alone the family and coaches that were watching as well.

All the masters qualifiers deserve a pat on the back for a great display of bowling on Friday and Saturday. Well done!!!

Congrats to Jayde and Mac, you put on a massive display of brillant bowling over the weekend! Well done to the runners up Dianne and Glen.
But of course, great bowling also from Ash and Chris, as well as Tracey and of course, NSW's own JEN JONES!!:D
Congrats also go to everyone who made the cut!

I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Mac Stewart from VIC and Jayde Flanagan from N.T on their 2006 Open Masters Titles. A huge achievement in our sport and if it isn’t the biggest event we have it would be close to it…To win an Australian Masters Title is something that everyone strives for in our sport…

Once again well done guys... and well done to all other place getters also...
