Bought as a project a few years back with the intension of restoring the old girl. Not modifying.
Genuine Australian Delivered.
Usual wear and tear for a 20 year old car
Mechanical work in the last 10'ks
Engine:
New Clutch, pressure plate, thrust race and Spiggot bearing.
Replaced the rocker cover gaskets
Replaced the Sump
Timing belt at 296k's including all pullies with heavy duty bearing units,
STI Oil Pump, genuine
New Water pump
New radiator hoses
these four points alone were $1000 on there own for the parts.
UniFilter panel filter.
Dump pipe back 2.5 inch exhaust.
Aircond serviced and working.
Suspension:
1999 STI inverted struts
Brakes:
WRX rear disks with new pads
WRX front disks with 2000 Outback calipers to keep the original look.
Wheels:
17 x 7 Mesh to clear the brakes.
The car comes with the oringinal wheels,
Spare intercooler and intercooler radiator and pump.
and various other odds and end.
Also comes with a Leather Look seat cover set not fitted and
a full set of decals, (reproduction kit.)
Log books will be supplied with previous owner details in the book and receipts from previous owners.
This car had the original top end rebuilt 90,000 k's ago instead of the WRX head conversion. A bonus for me as I was after an original unit not a WRX engine converted car. I guess I like the tickety sound in the morning.
The front bumper has a crack from the previous owner hitting a tow bar and will need repairing.
Reason for selling is that I have run out of time and room. The car is at the point of needing to be painted. I don't have the garage space to store once complete and can't justify the cost to leave the old girl out of the garage.
So I am letting my dream car go in the hope that an enthusiast after an original old girl in original mechanical spec will finish her off.
