All righty!, with the 2nd installment of the State Teams Challenge to be held on 31st August & 1st September at moonah bowl here are the odds.
Rachuig Ladies: 3 to 1.
With there great performance in Challenge 1, they will be hard to beat on the dryer lanes at Moonah Bowl, with State masters and D'port masters champ Debbie Bowtell leading the way, she will be well supported by Jess Evrignham, kc Fechner, Jackie Crick, Sara "300" Hyland.....and proven clutch bowler Rebecca Salter.
Should Give great show to say the least, if not in the hotel later in da night.
Sheild Boys: 5 to 1
Well wat can i say, with a great showing in President Shield in Sydney, these boys will take it to the last game, but with out there "star" preformer and home center bowler Nathan Young, who will be at AIS, these guys did slip out to 5 to 1....But seasoned bolwersDave "QC" Cavanagh, and Dan Bunting, just me be able to pull this 1 off , but Can they handle the pressure of the rachuig Men??.
ATBSO men 7 to 1
Due to bruv getting changed for bowling its loco's turn to provide the odds. After a much maligned effort in the first Challenge these guys will be back to prove one thing.... that they actually can bowl! With a few home centre bowlers i belive they will turn around the efforts in Lawnceston and be up there near the top this time around. Expect a good showing from Raymond "no need to look" Tilla.
Rachuig Men 10 to 1
These odds may surprise a few but even after winning the first teams challenge this team is no where near favorite for the title. Handicap and the fact that 5 team members will think they are bowling on mars is the main thing stopping a repeat performance in the challenge. The plus sides are Arron Franklin and Adam "Loco Sutra" Lucock with experience on these lanes. Arron being from the left side of the ditch and Adam holding a 206 ave. Also if the soles of Mark slippery dip Foster stay firmly planted on the ground his form in the last few tournies shouldbe a plus factor. The addition to the team, however, is the return of champion bowler ashley riley and with a bit of luck this side could make it two in a row.
ATBSO Ladies 15 to 1
Handicap and good bowling will help these dynamite ladies in their efforts to win the challenge. I am not sure on form but i belive that if this team can win the australian atbso ladies title then you cannot rub them out of the chances.
Sheild Girlies 25 to 1
Im betting this time Sara wont be with the team and this will be serious blow for the girls. No one can replace Sara but maybe with luck and Gazillions of handicap and of course the form of the first two days of sheild they can give the top couple of sids a run for their money.
Walter Deveer Men and Women 50 to 1
Definately the rank outsiders of the feild with a lack lustre showing at the previous challenge. I belive even the old lustre king would have provided a better shine than these two sides. Of course they do have a chance. i mean, look at steven bradbury for instance...... but we arent bowling on ice.... more like sand lol
Disclaimer remember all odds are for amusement only.. kinda like teh 20c porn places at the cross. if u think we are bagging anyone then u r as silly as the jerusalem football coach dragging jesus after an errant kick.
these are the new odds.. enjoy and we will see u in hobart.
luv Bruv and Loco
