Haha, I'm so out of the loop. I hear Craigie is going to be Joondalup after March?

Yep.

Here's a few more I took today, I've made them a bit larger this time so they're clearer. The demolition people were there so I could get into the top carpark to take these first two:

The blue wall in the second picture is the wall next to lane 1. Someone's put some graffiti on it, I see. Here's the wall on December 21st, 2006 (the last day the bowl was open): http://i42.tinypic.com/2jwgsi.jpg

You can also see the remains of some of the original wood lanes in the mess.

3 others I took:

The third one is the exit from the lower carpark.

Anyone seen Scoops lately? I have a brick for him if he still wants it. One of the demolition guys said he'd bring a whole truckload and drop them on my front lawn if I wanted them and gave him my address.

i have great pleasure in saying i watched the old girl come tumbling down, got myself a nice brick and some great snaps

G'day all, been a while. I went past it on the bus the other day... I was shocked to see it gone, so sad :(

Oh boy! Those pictures make me sad! Hope all the Fairlanes crew and bowlers have managed to find a new home - this one is sure going to be missed!
