Walter Ray Williams joins 900 Global

SAN ANTONIO, TX -- 900 Global has signed Walter Ray Williams Jr. to its PBA professional staff. The selection by Walter to use the company’s products is just one more example of 900 Global as an emerging brand in a highly competitive market place.

He will be representing the United States at the 45th AMF World Cup to be held in Melaka Malaysia in November 2009.

Dave Smart of 900 Global stated, "900 Global is extremely excited about the opportunity to work with Walter and the exposure he can bring to the 900 Global brand and family of brands including AMF. As one of the all time greats, Walter demands excellence of himself and his equipment; we look forward to working with him."

900 Global is a manufacturer of performance bowling balls and is the exclusive licensee of AMF consumer product. Along with the bowling ball line and accessories, 900 Global distributes 3G’s, a line of performance bowling shoes. Morich wont be happy.... :p

Morich had no choice. Once they were no longer PBA registered, WRW needed to find another company.

WRW used a couple of storm balls and a couple of Global balls in the Motor City Open qualifying, found the Global Bounty Hunter gave him the required backend, liked the gear, Signed with Global and went on to make the show. He then went on to beat Chris Barnes in the final, giving him a title immediately after the switch.

He's had a bit of success with stuff from the San Antonio factory so not surprised he went in that direction, go look at his tv shows in the mid 00's with stuff like Flipside Wow, Phenom Unleashed and Crunch Time.

That episode has not aired on TV, kinda spoiled it there.
