The World No 1 Tenpin Bowler, Parker Bohn III, will be appearing at Chester Hill Tenpin Bowl on Monday, 12th September.
Parker Bohn III will be at Chester Hill Tenpin Bowl showing special techniques, performing bowling tricks and autograph signing. He will also participate in a mini in-house tournament with Chester Hill Tenpin Bowl representative bowlers.
“We are delighted to be the only Sydney tenpin bowling centre that is being visited by such a high profile sports person. It’s great for our bowlers and anyone who is interested in tenpin bowling to have the opportunity to see a World No 1 sports person in action” says Annette Cannone, Centre Manager.
The left-handed bowler is one of the most successful bowlers in history. Bohn is one of the nicer players to watch due to his flawless technique. He is one of the most consistent left-handed strokers in the field and often makes it to the finals. He is the holder single-season average record (228 in 1999) and also has won many different awards for his bowling achievements. Parker Bohn III is, besides bowling, very active in helping children in need to make it possible for them to do a sport.
His visit forms part of the Sport A Month sessions, a Bankstown Council initiative, when September will be the month to try tenpin bowling. Sport A Month includes sessions running throughout September at Chester Hill Tenpin Bowl where beginner juniors, adults, seniors and people with disabilities can try tenpin bowling free of charge.
