someone out there is creating archives of billions of websites for up to the past 11 years.
if someone were to tell me this I would have said yeah right but I have seen it first hand and I must say this is impressive stuff. could you imagine the technology and the amount of space required to hold 85 billion websites is just enourmous. working in the IT industry it takes a lot to impress me when it comes to internet and networks but the fact that a company is doing this free of charge and just the space required is just absoutely amazing.
check out what Totalbowling used to look like just 4 years ago. might even be able to find some old back ups of forumns that have been lost.
