Forbes Business and Financial Website has just come out with this years Rich List for the Worlds Richest People.
They state that there is a record 946 Billionaires in the world.(all based on their estimated net worth, there could be more in the world)

No surprise to see that computer nerd Bill Gates topping the list with an estimated net value of $56.0 Billion. No wonder he was able to donate $40 Billion to charity recently.
Other notable metions are Australias own James Packer coming in at number 142 with $5.5 Billion.

230 Richard Branson - $3.8 Billion
243 George Lucas - $3.6 Billion
also at 243 F1 magnate Bernie Ecclestone - $3.6 Billion
287 Steven Spielberg - $3.0 Billion
314 'The Don' Donald Trump - $2.9 Billion
The youngest Billionaire is German Prince Albert von Thurn und Taxis who is just 23 years old worth $2.0 Billion
The worlds richest woman is Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken who inherited a 25% stake of the Heineken Brewery of which she sits on Heineken's supervisory board and is worth round $7.2 Billion
