Neville Vagg, the milk farmer who sponsors this event is putting in $6000 and the bowl puts in $2000, he has sponsored this event for 21 years. Many dollars over the years.
First Place $1500, entry fee $100 plus $50 if you make the final
Only a 12 lane centre in a resort town in coastal Victoria. The Matchplay is 3 per pair.
Plenty of accommodation (cheap to expensive) and fantastic restaurants
The best social tournament, paying 1 in 2
I am sure it will be a sell out
Warrnambool is a three hours drive from Melbourne but I am sure somebody would help you get there
The ATBA in Victoria helps run the Melbourne Cup and Warrnambool Cup.
B and C squads are the most popular and with a maximum of 24 bowlers a squad early entries with a deposit is required
The Motel on the entry form gives the best rate with basic accommodation
