The Hex Darkside was a limited release and features the successful KO Punch core from 2001. It has though a pearl cover, similar to that of a SPELL or STOMP. Its a mild cover with a strong symmetrical core with good flare potential.

I guess the big benefit with this ball is that it clears the heads real easy and is ideal for dry to medium conditions. A bit squirty on oil, it would give you an under / over reaction unless you sanded it ( which defies buying a pearlised ball really).

Not many left in the country but worth the dollars if you can get one (heard they were going real cheap at Chermside). Here are some pics
