A great event to be sure - plenty of very favourable comments re the format and the spirit in which it was played .... congrats. to all the 'bling' collectors and you all deserved your rewards all but especially to Barb. and Chris. for a very dominating week - the chicks from the bush certainly showed that a diet of 'crumbed ostrich drumsticks and stewed road kill' is the way to go.

Thanks Mary, to anyone who wants to go the distance we will share our nutritional diet with them. Cheers Christene

what an event..............

Congratulations to all those bowlers who participated in the inaugral Seniors Challenge. A great format, speedy (as in you weren't stuck in a bowl ALL DAY), and most importantly, competitive right to the very end.

This event has all the makings of being a winner in the years to come, so pats on the back to whomever was responsible for bringing it to fruition!

KJ,
This event has never been a secret and has been talked about since we started the youth event of the same format. I would have liked it started sooner but we got it underway this year. The rules have been on the TBA website for over 12 months and most states have been organising themselves during that time. The event is an open event and the bowlers compete at the highest level. It gave me great pleasure to see an idea of mine come to fruition and see the competitors relishing in the competition. Great bowling which would have rivalled any open competition of any kind in Australia today.
We are looking forward to next year and making plans already.
