Recently at the conference coaches and administrators from all State and Territories except Tasmania and ACT were present to have input into changes to current programs and new development initiatives.
Terry Wheeler former AFL Bulldogs Player and Coach gave a rousing and motivational opening to the conference which was extremely well received by all in attendance.
Some of the initiatives soon to be advertised pending approval from TBA CEO include:
• New State Based Training Squad and Feeder Programs
• Changes to TBA Managers Course
• Athlete Performance Tracking Register
• Succession Plan Coach Recruitment
• TBA Coaching and Officiating website update
• Initiatives and new training methods for coaches
